Today was packed with information, computer programs, systems............and a tour of the warehouse. It is an amazing place! Food has to go out quickly to avoid spoiling and there is limited space available. Very few paid people - majority is all volunteers. Absolutely amazing. And everyone is genuine and friendly.
Tomorrow will be a work day for me as I establish my files, enter some things, plan out some visits. This is an incredible opportunity to touch a lot of people and see great things happening!

Hooray for you! About meeting some of those people who are on the opposite end of that truck, I've been a volunteer many many times. it gets very very hectic after the truck leaves the basement or gymnasiuym and that is when the important stuff begins behind the scenes. The helping of those who have not had meat in a week, nor bread, nor simple stuff we take for granted. I'm so glad you are in your position - you will help a lot of people, maybe namelessly help, but God does not require our name on our tasks. Hugs dear!
